Breakfast in the hotel consisted of a big buffet with a combination of Korean offerings, Japanese, Chinese, and “western” foods. Great juice bar where they were making fresh juices including kiwi, pineapple, orange, and grapefruit.
I continue to be coffee impaired on foreign soil. Not as bad as my inability to get coffee in Australia, but after my first cup the waitress gestured to my empty cup. I said yes and nodded, but I think she was asking “Are you done?” and not “Would you like another cup?” because after she took the cup it never returned!

This morning my father took me to breakfast at what he calls
One of his favorite places to get breakfast because it’s easy and fast. Breakfast consisted of congee or what I referenced previously as jook. This congee already included pieces of 10,000 year old egg and ham. It also included coffee and what I describe as a Chinese breakfast burrito. If ever there existed a mashing of cultures this is it. A flour tortilla wrapped around scrambled eggs a with a little tomato and shrimp.
So where do you get this Tri-cultural breakfast of congee, coffee, and burrito with shrimp?
Take a look at the photo and you’ll know!
