Better xiaolongbao than at Yu Gardens and still centrally located: Jia Jia Tangbao (佳家汤包, Jia Family Soup Dumplings) on Huanghe Rd. People's Square subway exit 9, cross the street and walk north, it'll be on your right after 5 minutes. Go for lunch, because when they run out they close up shop. Expect to wait because the place is tiny but popular. Don't miss the ginger side, which you have to order explicitly.

As it turns out...our conference space had lousy wireless...go figure! The wire in the room was awesome, but the conference space wireless was inconsistent and sometimes just didn't work. On the other hand, having a conference room on the 30th floor of the hotel overlooking Seoul was rather spectacular. I don't think we have anything 30 stories tall in Maine so won't be doing anything like that anytime soon.

Don't plant that bamboo here!! Talk about an invasive species! It is great in China and in some very controlled garden settings, but if it adapts to local environs, and it does that well, the plant takes root like there is no tomorrow!
